Overview

Carla Noel LLC ("Carla Noel," "I," "me," or "my") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website (carlanoel.com) collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only, not to information shared with me separately, such as in client work or signed agreements.

Information I collect

Information you provide: If you sign up for updates, I collect your email address and, if you choose to share it, your first name. If you use the inquiry form, I collect your name, email address, role, location, and the business and project details you choose to share, such as your company, website, social handles, goals, timing, and budget readiness.

Information collected automatically: This site does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. It stores one small note in your browser (local storage) to remember that you've already seen the email sign-up pop-up, so it doesn't appear again. The third-party services that power the site may receive limited technical information, described below.

How I use your information

• To reply to your messages and inquiries.
• If you signed up, to send occasional updates about my work, offerings, and perspectives. These are never frequent.
• To keep a record of our communication.

I don't sell, rent, or trade your information.

Third-party services

• Netlify hosts this website and processes and stores form submissions (the email sign-up and inquiry form).
• Email service: if you sign up for updates, your email may be stored in an email marketing service I use to send them.
• Google Fonts loads the typefaces on this site from Google's servers, which may log your IP address as part of that request.
• Google Calendar: the "Book a Call" button links to a Google Calendar scheduling page, where Google may collect your name, email, and scheduling details directly.
• LinkedIn and Instagram: links to my profiles are governed by those platforms' own privacy practices.

I don't control how these services handle data beyond what's needed to provide their service to this site.

Unsubscribing

Every update email includes a link to unsubscribe. You can also email hello@carlanoel.com and I'll remove you.

Data retention

I keep your information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, send updates you've signed up for, maintain our working relationship, or meet legal and accounting obligations.

Your choices and rights

You can ask at any time what information I have about you, request a correction, or ask me to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. Email hello@carlanoel.com and I'll respond personally.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for adults and businesses. It is not directed at children, and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

I may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the most recent revision.
